After originally planning to have Kurt Ballou manning the board, Hell Within have tapped Zeuss (Shadows Fall, 100 Demons) to mix their upcoming disc.

Shadows Fall was the most played band on metal radio following their release of 'The War Within.'  FMQB shows 359 spins at #1, CMJ Crucial Spins has it at 245 spins at #1, and it is a top the CMJ Loud Rock Chart.

The Red Chord have again parted ways with their drummer, John Longstreth.  The reason given is always original "stylistic differences."  Original drummer Mike Justain has filled in for a few dates but the band will be cancelling all upcoming shows with God Forbid, Norma Jean, and A Life Once Lost.

A couple of big releases today...

First up, Shadows Fall latest, 'The War Within' hits today.  Along with the 10 track CD, you get a DVD featuring the video for "Stepping Outside the Circle" from 'The Art of Balance,' two additional live videos, and some guitar and drum lessons. 

Also, Converge's 'You Fail Me' is in stores as well.  For you elitist pricks, the LP version is set to arrive in October.

Both discs are at Newbury Comics for under $10.00.

According to a post by their manager, Hell Within will be entering pre-production next week for their debut full length on Lifeforce Records.  Actual recording of the disc is scheduled to begin in November at Prism Sound in Acton with a March 2005 release date slated.  The yet untitled CD will feature 10 tracks and a video/dvd.  After the release, a nationwide tour is planned.
