Old Man Gloom, a band featuring members of Converge, Cave In, and Isis, have set August 24th as the release date of their new disc 'Christmas.'  For those who can't wait Hyrdra Head Records has a presale that also gets you an exclusive shirt from the band.  Check it out here.

According to theprp.com, guitarist Jay Zucco of Cannae will be leaving the band as soon as a replacement is found.  Here is the official word:
 "jay zucco has decided to step down from guitar duties. he is staying with us until we have found a suitable replacement. we'll deeply miss him and we wish him the best of luck. so, if you play guitar and can get to boston MA at least 2-3 times a week, can tour alot, and contribute to the writing process, then you're the man for the job. we're currently writing a new album due out after the new year on prosthetic records."

According to their label Not Commom Records, Disengaged has broken up.  More information to come when available.

On Broken Wings have just finished recording a new song entitled 'Pushing Up Daisys.'   The band expects to shoot a video for it in September.  OBW have also announced a replacement bass player who goes by the name Jerome as well as relaunching a more dialup friendly site for us poor fucks.
