Eulogy Records have signed Boston hardcore straightedge band Black my Heart.  They plan on touring extensively this summer.
Video Killed the Radio Star...

Unearth have sent out an open casting call for a new video directed by Dale "RAGE" Resteghini.  The shoot will be on Friday May 21st.  If you are interesting in attending you have to call Jen Price at Raging Nation Films at 212-252-2372 and leave your name, number, and speak clearly.  Participation is limited and you have to be available for at least 8 hours.

In other news,  Unearth has released a DVD through Hot Topic and Very Distribution.  The DVD contains 3 songs, interviews, and zany backstage footage.  It is an exclusive buy for 2 months at $2 at those locations, after the 2 months the price will jump to $4 and will be available everywhere.

kSe Plays Nice...

The Worcester Palladium's website is stating that for the first 100 people that present their stub for the New England Metal Fest at the doors of the kSe, In Flames, As I Lay Dying show on on May 28th will receive an exclusive Killswitch Engage sew-on patch and an autographed poster.  After that, while supplies last, anyone who presents the stub will receive an autographed poster.  According to thepalladium.net 'this is Killswitch Engage's way of saying thank you for everyone coming to see them again in the wake of their short set at this year's fest.'

According to their label Black Market Activities, The Red Chord have officially filled their drum position with John Longsteth (formerly of Origin, Skinless).  He has been quoted as saying, "This is the most fun I've had playing metal.  I might not quit this time.

To hype their new CD 'Tearing Down Your Blue Skies,' Diecast have released 2 new MP3's from the upcoming release.  Both can be found at their newly redesigned website at bhcdiecast.com. The disc is due out on July 27th through Century Media.

Cheech have finished recording their new CD entitled "Keep Your Pimp Hand Strong" and have sent it off to the dup. plant.  They are expecting an early June release.
