This year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, is starting to take form.  Listed below are the bands expected to play.  Please note the bands are in alphabetical order not order of appearance.  Each day will run you $35.00 or $100.00 for a three-day pass.

Porn slut starlet, Jasmin St. Clair has recently completed interviews with Diecast and Shadows Fall, among others for her upcoming DVDzine Metal's Darkside.  No release date has been finalized.
Screams of Susi...

Screams of Erida have teamed up with Xact|Records for the release of the bands upcoming disc, 'Burn The World.'  The album was produced by Unearth's Ken Susi and will be available on 2/11/05.  A pre-order and a couple of sample MP3s are available in the online store over at Xactrecords.com.  The CD is currently selling for $7.00.

The Diecast track 'Medieval' will be featured in an upcoming soundtrack for the upcoming Christian Slater film 'Alone in the Dark.'  The soundtrack is due to impact stores on January 25th and also includes tracks by Shadows Fall, Fear Factory, In Flames, Heaven Shall Burn, Agnostic Front among others.

Backstabbed...

Just as the band was readying themselves to go on tour, Backstabbers, Inc., founding member and vocalist Ryan McKenney has left the band.  According to the official word on the Backstabbers, Inc. website, guitarists Brian and Matt Serven will be taking over vocals for the tour.  To check out the full post check out backstabbersinc.com.

According to lambgoat.com, vocalist Ryan McKenney will performing his last show with the band on January 31st at the Cambridge Elks.  For more info check out the shows page.

Bane Recording the Note...

Bane is in the studio now recording their next full length.  The record tentatively entitled 'The Note' will once again be produced by Brian McTernan.  The band is hoping for a spring release.

Cheech On Your Teeth...

Cheech has posted a new MP3 for download on their site.  The track is entitled "Choking On Your Teeth" and is available here.  Also, the band plans on hitting the studio to record 5 new songs and possibly an old one for an upcoming split with Last Call out of NY.  And in related news, Cheech is still my least favorite name for a band I like.
