Overcast have official announced their reunion and first return show date.  They will be playing the New England Hardcore Metal Fest on April 29th on the mainstage.  (Not so) shockingly, Adam D. has signed on to (re?)produce 10-14 classic Overcast songs with 2 unreleased ones.  The tentative title is 'Reborn to Kill Again' and is expected to drop in May.  Check Overcast.cc for me details and a brief history of the band.

Shere Khan have updated their MySpace page with 2 songs from their last EP and one brand new unreleased track.  Check it out at MySpace.com/xShereKhanx.

The Hostage Heart have reformed with some of the original members along with Tim Leonard (formerly of Invocation of Nehek) on bass and Jared Colby taking over guitar.  They claim they are not going to break up again.  Check out their MySpace page at MySpace.com/TheHostageHeart.

Also some of the other guys formerly of The Hostage Heart have started a new band, War On Our Shores.

According to the Tunnel Drill Myspace Page, Boston metal pioneers, Overcast will be reuniting.  The lineup looks to be as followed:

Scott Mcoo (Transient) - guitar 
Pete Cortese (Seemless) - guitar
Mike D'Antonio (Killswitch Engage) - bass
Jason Fitzgerald (Tunnel Drill) - drums
Brian Fair (Shadow's Fall) on vocals

The band plans on recording and playing out. 

Screams of Erida are scheduled to start recording their first full-length in January of 2006.  Ken Susi of Unearth fame will be recording/producing the record.  The CD will be include approximately 10 songs including 3 off the 'Burn the World' EP which was also produced by Susi.
